What's your favorite type of donut?

I don't think I've ever met a donut I didn't like.   However, when it comes to favorites, I have 2 (naturally).  The first would be the "tiger tail."  For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a twist made with plain and chocolate batters.  The best of both worlds, if you ask me.  The other favorite of mine is the bavarian-filled.  It's a hole-less donut topped with a layer of chocolate, filled with bavarian cream.  MMMmmmmmm.  I could talk about donuts all day (and eat them too, unfortunately).  I found the following photos from my favorite donut haunt The Donut Man off of Route 66.  Yea, it's a hike, but fortunately, it's just a couple miles from my parents' house.  Incentive to visit more often, indeed!

Since that was a couple of years ago, there have been some significant changes.  However, the main thing would probably be that I have a different job now -- thank God!!
