Ok, no lie...I started today's work "To Do" list yesterday, as I do when I'm feeling rather efficient. That's not the incredible part..one of the items I listed is (and I kid you NOT) "Kick it with J. Chan or The Hoff." Now, I don't work in the entertainment industry, I work at a law firm. And, it's not even entertainment law. And NO, I had not been drinking! I had 5 items listed and that was #4 just above "Coordinate secretarial training w/J & C." I have NO IDEA what I meant by #4! When I looked at my list this morning, I just had to LOL because I don't know wtf it means! I guess dementia is slowly creeping on...
I obviously didn't forget the show was coming back on, as evidenced by the last post below. However, in my eager anticipation...I fell asleep on Thursday between 9:50 and 11:10 pm. (Insert waa-waa-waa-waaa music here.) However, on Friday, some of my fellow Lostie co-workers and I had a lunch hour viewing so I'm caught up, but not before I jumped online and read all the boards. (I was going to wait and remained unspoiled but that intent lasted a good 4 minutes.)
So much happened in this episode I almost don't know where to begin. I feel like I need to watch it a second (and possibly third) time in order to get my head around it, but here goes. First of all...poor Alex. Ben used her as a pawn and with all his plans and schemes, this fatally backfired on him. Loved how he (seemingly) sic'd Smokey on the freighter assassins. Who knew there was another secret door behind the secret door that lead to the closet? And why did he emerge all sooty? Smokey was all kinds of awesome, though.
Then there's the teleportation/time travel aspect which, as much as I understand the need for the show, I'm really not thrilled about. I suppose there's no other way to explain how Benry gets his info and his millions (though that detail still needs to be revealed). In a FF, he ends up in the desert and meets up with Sayid who eventually did find Nadia and marry her just to end up getting murdered in LA. Then there's the whole Widmore feud. When he snuck up to Widmore's penthouse, I was practically going BOOM-CHIK-A-BOW-BOW! Wow, was there a lot of implied other-relationship there, or what? "Since when did you sleep with a bottle of [whisky or whatever] by your bed?" Really, Benry? Since when did you know what sort of items are on Chuckie's nightstand? BOOM-CHIK-A-BOW-BOW...
So, it's on with Benjamin and Charles. Benry is going after Penny and Chuckles is going after the island and both swore the other will never find their target. Verrrrrry interesting. Many people think that it's absolutely sacrilige for anyone to even entertain the thought of killing dear Penelope. I don't care so much for her, but what it would do to poor Desmond. I'm not worried, because by the end of the season, there'll be another crisis to ponder.
Of course, I'd be remiss to not acknowledge the awesomeness that is Sawyer and how he's all protective of Hugo and Claire (and of course, her baybee). Threatening to unleash harm to Benry (or was it Locke?) if they as much touch his curly head. Too cute. And loved that Bernard called Daniel out on his morse code B.S. Team Jack needs to hog-tie the freighties and prevent them from doing any further damage.
Unfortunately, I missed the "...next time on Lost..." previews so I don't know quite what to expect next week. I'm sure I'll think of more once I watch the episode again. What I need to do is watch it on Thursday and then again on Friday. This will be my goal this week. Oh, and I still don't believe that Rousseau's dead.

Other than TeamVox, who was the first person you added to your Vox neighborhood? What made you want to be their neighbor?

That's easy, my friend Eileen (holla!). She turne me onto Vox and, as they say, the rest is history.
Ok, this may not be new for anyone, but I have the Acronym of the Day: ATNA (not to be confused with the insurance carrier, Aetna. That's totally different.).
ATNA stands for All Talk No Action. Yea, I know you all know people like this... They make me crazy and not in a good way.
If you were independently wealthy, where in the world would you live?
Submitted by Eileen.
Well, since my friend Eileen (Holla!) submitted this, I must answer! I like where I'm living now in The OC so I wouldn't exactly move out of the area, however, I'd probably move to a different neighborhood into a single-family dwelling with an ocean view, as opposed to the Barbie townhouse condo I'm living in now. [But, I'm still content :-) ]
